How do these rally guys manage to tear it up on those roads without destroying their oil pans?

I'm still a little paranoid after cracking one on a parking block, and hitting the new one again without causing damage.

And I have read so many threads about cracked oil pans.

Is the oil pan of the M42 lower than the M20?
My car is not slammed. I'm running HR cup kit.
