True. German luxury sport sedans are much heavier than a carbon fiber monocoque super car. What makes the Z06 so fast is that they've kept the weight at around ~3200lbs

Geiger is not a tuner, but an american car importer. they do 'trick out alot of their cars that they sell, but they are really just the premier U.S. car dealer. He always has some incredible shit at every show ive been to.they are located in Munich, and the father of the company i have talked to alot of times when I was on the lowrider curcuit. He has an incredible collection of Vettes! used to do alot of widebody kits on the older ones. Here is a pic of his daughters H2! over 500 hp. i love the thing.
the blue one is his too, it was at the essen motorshow this year. supercharged and all that crap too.

Ohh, and a vette will smoke an M5-- no problem- seen it too many times at the track, hell my budies LS1 anniversary TA kills em.

I know that the general consensus around the world is that American cars suck, and I agree, but what do Europeans think of American supercars like the Corvette?

the germans LOVE american cars all together! why do you think I ride around in my 94 C1500. I get looks like you wouldnt believe in that thing, and people barely even notice the M3 when I take it out for a drive.
although, lately I have been getting ALOT of compliments by OLD people on my red M tech I car. They all seem to ask how I like it, and that they used to have one, and that their E30 was the best car they had 15 years ago.

the Vettes and the Mustangs are the cars all germans really want.
            the german that i rent a barn from owns a 1969 stingray conv., 1973 Mach I, and a 1985 4x4 F150 on 33's.

Eh, that car would murder any roundel sporting car in a straight line or on a track. Hell, the base C6 could pretty much do the same. The new Z06 is a lot more then a car that can only haul ass in a straight line.

And if Chevy makes the 'Blue Devil' version of the Z06 that will be beyond insane. A blown (guesstimates of about 650HP) Z06 that weighs 2,800lbs would be sheer terror in any performance spectrum.
