    ..burble, burble, rumble rumble.....

    I said, "That's no Jag."

He smiled sheepishly and just said "Ford."

I smiled and gave him a thumbs up.

Buddy of mine, and previous owner of my e30, works for a Jag/LR shop in ATL. I don't think I have ever heard more horror stories from any particular make of car as he recounts.

I've drove a few when I was a valet in college - not a fan.

Would make for a good hipster car though - if your into that kind of thing.
dude i see like 3-4 every day, they always ether seem to look brand new , or they look beat to shit and have obvious fuel leaking issues

I will own an old Jaguar someday, but I've heard horror stories about their reliability so I plan on waiting until I have more garage space before I buy one.

+1 one on adding a SBC. There was one FS here a while back for $800 with a SBC....I passed because it was in redneck territory and it was $800.

Friend of mine has a 77-ish XJS with a built built built BBC and Lister body kit. It's ridiculous.

Fantastic looking cars, but they're reliability....well....yeah, they'll drive you mad.
