E30 - 0-60mph in 6(ish) seconds

If you time the car from the start to the time it hits 60mph it is around 6 seconds, now of course this is nothing like scientific but you get the general picture.

I would reckon on a realistic time of low 6 seconds to 60mph.

If you look closely you will see the rpm bounce off 7600rpm.

Unfortunately I can't view the vid (my computers fault)....but did you go by the speedometer hitting 60? If so, that will be slightly inaccurate, given that BMW speedometers are not accurate with actual road speed.

Proper timing equipment is needed for stuff like that.

no, whoosh is turbo, nitrous from what ive heard makes it sound like the engine is really hunkering down and belting out some nutso power.

The gas gives a deeper hum to the engine.
With only a 50 shot of gas you get pinned to the seat, even with 3 passengers in the car, if i hit the gas we all get pulled into the back of the seats, it really is harsh.
