Mini. Road trip from seattle

I'm going to baseball game saturday night, Go A's! Then on the road to the bay after. What are the must see/eat spots on the way down to the bay?

Is it safe to assume SF Bay? Take Port Townsend ferry (Go to Mt Vernon) to 101 to get to 1. Stop wherever. Every town on the way is lovely (Especially Astoria)

Camp at Clam Beach.

When you reach SF, drive a little further south on 1 to go to Big Sur. Just do it. You'll thank me later.

Im from north bay so I know hwy 1. Just wondering from seattle to Chico, from there I know the rest. Also no camp I got work on Monday @ 7am thanks tho
