yea, but its a EURO M30... and its got a short stroke and a big bore, so it rev's nicely already, and taking 10lbs off the flywheel makes it even more rev happy. I will give you a ride when shes done 8)

A friend has an euro motor in his 535i and I asked him about the 10:1. He said it does ping, but only because he puts 87 in it. With 91 he says it probably would be ok.

lol this one is good Eric, of course it's not going to ping on 91 if it doesn't ping on 87. I think you transcribed your numbers backwards. If not you don't understand what the numbers mean to detonation.

when i read that the connection that it is pinging because of the 87 octane fuel.
