    89 Touring with M52 swap in Germany.....Should i drop 5000 euro?

I'm looking for an e30 to buy to drive for the three years i'm stationed here in Sicily and then bring back to the states later. I have plans of a V8 swapped touring.

My concern here is even though the swap was done by a "pro" I am buying the car sight unseen. Worth the risk?

High price for a Touring in Germany but it has a lot of stuff done to it. The engine is only the 2.5L not the 2.8L. In the US you would pay about the same price for a sedan with similar mods. The main thing to check is how bad the rust is. Try to get some more pictures and look at the car before you buy it.

Are there no E30 tourings in Italy, they would probably have less rust.

There are tourings in Italy but a good chunk of them are converted to run on lpg or aren't in the best shape. Italians tend not to care about there cars very well.

That car is not too far from AC Nico maybe you could have him doing a courtesy inspection and be you go between. If you do purchase it then on the way home you could visit Lichtenstein and Rome or Venice or heck Munich.

Cars on Sicily are tour up as every driver thinks they are the next formula 1 or pro rally driver. I can remember riding my bike the Comiso AS area and thinking I was gonna die via death from behind.

looks like a good car. I was in Sig 02, still wish I would have bought my classic mini cooper.

I feel you on that ! I remember seeing a member driving a genuine Hennarot E34 Alpina with all livery on NAS II, Alpina wheels and everything.
