Woman accidentally kills her husband & herself, parking her Lexus truck

A WOMAN driver killed her husband and crushed herself to death while attempting to park her car.
The accident happened as the recently-qualified driver tried to reverse her Lexus SUV into a space in an underground car park in Fenghua, China.
The 41-year-old woman had only passed her driving test five weeks before and was practising reverse-parking, helped by her husband - who was guiding her into the tight spot.
But instead of easing into the space, she backed in too quickly - pinning her spouse against a wall.
After hearing his screams, tried to free him by accelerating, while she leaned out of her window.
But she had forgotten to change out of reverse gear - and crushed him and her own head against the concrete partition.
The alarm was raised by the couple's six-year-old daughter who was in the car at the time and witnessed the double-tragedy.
But ambulance crew members declared the couple dead at the scene.

I met a chic several years ago at a bar in Calgary, AB.

A few years later I become friends with her on FB. Never heard anything from her in a while so i went ont her page to see how things were.

Turns out, everyone was wishing her to RIP and how much they missed her on her BD.

So i flipped thru the recent news, turns out she was driving her newer Lexus SUV into a parkade. As she was retrieving the parking ticket from the machine, she dropped it, took off her seatbelt, opened her door and attempted to retrieve it from the ground while the SUV was in drive....you can guess what happened after that

All because she was too lazy/rushing to take a few extra seconds to put the car into park, and pick it up off the ground

another reason to drive a manual car.. harder to forget you're depressing the clutch and you have to think to put the car in reverse vs drive. haha

scariest moment of my driving life was during student drivers training.

I finished my hours & was on the way to the next kids house. I hop out & the instructor asks the kid is he has driven before (yea).

We hit the main road asian kid freezes making a right stuck at 3 o'clock into on coming traffic. Me and the instructor are screaming as he grabs the wheel & stops us in the middle.
