Just wanted to say Hello to all of you R3V guys. Been lurking for a while and decided to post up what I have. The car's an '88 w/ 94K on it. Pretty much stock as it sits right now, a suspension upgrade is in the works.
As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.
Yes, this is my first E30. Have had 2 other BMWs over the years though; an '84 Euro 635 & a '74 3.0 CS. I will admit that I know a lot more about those than E30s. I have always liked and respected these, especially the M's. This one came along a few years back & I knew I had to have it. Couldn't wipe that sh*t eatin' grin off my face for days!
I'm down here in San Antonio. Been here a little over 7 years. Love it. I can only say that I really appreciate being able to drive these cars year round. I won't even discuss the whole "rust" thing that they have up north.
Jordan - Thanks for the welcome. Sorry to hear about what happened on the other forum. I don't know the whole history there; maybe they'll cool down, maybe they wont. Only time will tell. Regardless, looks like you did some really nice work on Abe's car. I haven't seen it for real yet, but I'm hoping to soon.
Nah. Ruben is a long time homo. He just hasn't come out of the closet yet. None of those kids overthere know a damn thing about the shit they drive. No big loss there. I was only hanging around to make money off them all stacking their cars up into poles and each other.

Thanks Dave, but I happen to think my car is pretty damn nice.
When is this super-cool trend of constantly referring to your own/everyone else's E30 as a piece of shit going to die?
Mine is too, except for a few minor things. But really - most of the M3s are just miles above - excpet for maybe karzroyz new project.
As far as trends go, I could care less - these have always been cheap fun little cars since I got mine in 2001. With the emphasis on cheap. And I never have hated my e30. i love it, but if I r3v'd it tomorrow, I'd love the fact that I can get another one for not much scratch.
