It was at a stop light. Felt loose all of a sudden (like bending a paper clip back and forth), then snapped at the base. :o

My droptop used to have a cheapo wood/chrome shifter, you can kinda see it here:

For now it's got a stock shifter, but I'll probably fit an M-tech one down the road...

Great company to business with. The knob is very high quality and reasonable. Mine had to be threaded for a 76 2002 (15 x 1.5). Came out perfectly. Price was very reasonable.

Their selective is good if you want something different.

This momo knob, except with the base has a machined aluminum look. PO installed it.
