That's a nice clean install. Those are on my short list to do unless my misfire magically disappeared by having the car sit for two or three years lol

Honestly $500k USD is ~$675k CAD which sounds pretty good to me lol. But our housing issue is pretty bad compared to most. That home insurance bill is insane though

I appreciate that, thank you. They certainly look the part, but I wanted them in leather/heated/shaved bottom and that was going to break the bank so I didn't pull the trigger.

I'd grab the cheap bottom end, but also try to do a quick look at what's wrong with your current bottom end.
Not sure how much boost you're running. If there's any damage from rings butting...

Any thoughts on your injectors? You see AFR is fine, so pump probably works but melting...

M52TU is Aluminum worldwide. Not sure if they're steel liner or Alusil/electroplated liner.
I've seen people resleeve the steel liner M52 non-TU at stock bore, no idea if there's room to...

Sounds/looks like it is trying to offset the engine to the right....

Unless there's specifically an issue with your bearings/rings, or you have the engine apart already to upgrade pistons/rods for FI, I'd just send it on the stock bottom end.

Due to limitations with variables vs logging speed on MS41 I don't have any logs with vanos/cam timing logged, and with the state my car is in, I am not going to be able to go find out anytime soon....

My front fitment is very different L/R on my e30 as well. Replaced control arms, tie rods, rack, subframe to no effect.
Still confident my car has never been hit as everything vin matches/shows...

I see there are like a dozen different sellers for those second mounts, no idea how they hold up.
Currently running older style Condor UHMW mounts in my turbo car.
