Soft top and Frame dimensions for transport.

Not sure if this is correct area but someone can tow it over if need be. Anyway....

So I bought a good used soft top and frame from vines. I plan on going up to Atlanta in a week to see the gf and then swinging back through birmingham to pick up the top. I am not sure if I am going to be driving my e30 or my civic hatchback. Partly it depends on how I can carry the top back. I have a general idea of how big the top is just by where it fits but I need more specific info. The idea would be can it fit in the trunk of my iC? Or can it fit say with passenger seat somehow folded up or down and going from front seat to rear seat? Or do I need to take my civic hatchback which has a lot of cargo room?

Anyone have experience carrying a top with frame? Anyone have some pictures of the assembly folded up or measurements would be even better.

    Thanks for the help.

Oh and btw my car has a hardtop so looking at roughly coupe size dimensions inside my car at the moment.

Take out your softop in the e30 and when you get the new one, fold it up and put i in the storage compartment...
