Simple answer of why I'm doing this? Subaru GL's are ugly,
so I decided to give it a face lift. I like the look of E30's. The reason I didn't
just buy an e30 is because I know how to work on Subaru motors, not BMW's I have a couple weeks of time to work on this car but I don't have a couple years to learn how to work on another type of engine..

I think it's starting to look pretty rad.. what do you guys think!?

As a fellow Subaru owner, e30s are cake to work on, and in my personal experience they're pretty comparable in reliability and cost of ownership.

I'm guessing the real reason behind this is "just because," which is fine, it's your car and money, but don't expect people to understand.
