how to find parts on US Ebay?

Hi,
What is it called in America when someone stripping parts off a car to sell them individually? eg the equivalent of "wrecking" (Australia) or "breaking" (UK).

I ask so that I can search for it on US ebay. Unless it's different over there? (In Australia, to find parts that aren't specifically listed, you search for E30 wrecking, then message for prices on the part you want)

Seems listing a parts car isn't very popular on US Ebay. You guys use Craigslist instead for this kind of stuff?

I know I use Craigslist sometimes, but usually just within 2 hours of me. Most of the time people who post on CL aren't really interested in shipping anything.
