    it's fugly, but the tech is pretty cool.

    gotta love the haters! I could drive to work all week on a 100 mile charge.

    also, $40,000 for an electric car is not that expensive - especially one built out of carbon fiber, by BMW, that's RWD and not slow as a Prius driven by an 80 year old man. It's only real competition is Tesla, which is almost twice the price.

    Totally agree. Mass production of carbon fiber cars is really exciting, but if you're gonna go that route - I'd take the Alfa 4C.

    I don't hate the styling as much as everyone else seems to. It succeeds in its goals as a small urban vehicle, with a large interior volume. It definitely avoids the cardinal sin of being boring - and I actually like the DLO. I'd much rather see these on the street than a goddamn Aztek.

    I like it for all the technology and advancements they made with this car, it's a complete carbon fiber car for under $50k. Now they will just start making cars lighter to increase efficiency.
