Selling an E30 on eBay

Anyone ever sold a car on eBay? I'm considering it. Should this be a last resort, or is eBay a reasonable way to sell?

Why should it be a last resort? It's a great way to get worldwide exposure. Not every guy wanting an E30 knows about R3VLimited. When I sold a friend's S50 325iS for him a while back all we got from R3V and Craigslist were tire kickers. Once listed on eBay we found a buyer in a few days. Remember the fees will get you though! Plan for those.

I sold my last 2 e30s on eBay. Got way more than trying to sell on the forums where I had a lot of tire kickers. I've had great success w eBay

BMWCCA is a great source as well.... When I sold my 318is I had guys from all over the country willing to fly down to look at it. Ended up selling it local for asking price but most of those guys don't have a problem paying for something that is of high quality. Worth the $60 membership alone to post on their forum and roundell magazine.

Your car is beautiful, man. I've been secretly excited every time it doesn't sell on the forum because it gives me more time to buy it lol. I just don't have any more driveway space right now...otherwise I'd be all over it.

Well I bought my car on eBay! The Previous Owner didn't know much of this following behind E30's and mine was easily worth 2800 and I bought it for 3500. I was a edge of my seat kind of win so I think he got his money's with. Just present the car well because he had guys from 2 states away saying they'll take it off his hands for 5000.
