you guys like mucking about with engines

Its good stuff, 2.7's, 2.8's...what else do you guys slot in an e30?

I would like to stick in an 3.5 m30...cheapest.

Ideally an e36 m3 engine...but that is a tad pricey...£3000 os so just for engine/box/wiring/ecu.

I have a 1988 325 (super ETA) and i have done the i conversion to it. It have the I head, intake components, exhaust, computer etc... so i call it a super i or super ita.

makes sense to use the i head if you have an eta...big gain for relatively little money I guess.

I take it super i isn't actually an official engine then, but something you guys have codenamed it then!

Hey UK guys, every E36 M3 engine you had featured 6 TB right? And those are a bitch to fit.....

You would actually be better off shipping one of our M3 engines over, as it fits quite easily (relatively speaking)......

I thought your e36 m3 wasn't as powerful though. Even if it is easier to fit, and is more powerful than the m20. There is aguy on the e30zone with e36 3.2 engined e30.

                              The US M3 engines:

                              s50 (95 M3) OBD 1- 3.0L = aprox 240hp
                              s52 (97+ M3) OBD 2 - 3.2L = aprox 240hp

I'm not sure what power the euro engines make but it's most likely alot more than the US versions
