    I need a small favor -will paypal $10 to anyone who can help

    I need a bit of help resolving the small water leak I have experienced during a hard rain.

    If you are willing to do me a favor, please read the below thread thoroughly.

    Anyone who live in a fairly rainy climate, yet, have NEVER experienced a leak in their cabin, can you do me a huge favour? I want you to open up the passenger side vent below the windshield, and pour a bottle of water into the blower motor side where the elephant trunk is located. I want you to see if you find trickles of water coming down from the specified place.

    If you can do me the favour, I will be more than happy to paypal you $10 for the inconveniences.

      I'll do it. It's fairly rainy here during the spring/fall seasons.

              Haha, nah, I'm gonna have all that pulled apart anyway (replacing the wiper linkage and motor) so I figure I'll test that out while I'm in there.

              I don't need any more money to spend on the car, just spend ~$2k on it in the past week.

                  awesome, thanks a bunch. Your car isn't suffering from any leaks that you know right?

                  Can't give you 2K, but my $10 will hopefully go towards a good cause (aka drinking).

                  So yeah, if you can pour a whole bottle of water (like 1L bottle), quickly, and see how it goes, it will be great. Actually, you can't really pour straight down, you kinda have to spray into that area.... well you'll know what I mean when you get in there.

                      Can you do the test with your air-recirculate button on, so that the flap is closed, and one with it open?
