Hi all,
Did a little tune up on the m60 because of oil consumption. Had a bad OSV.
I replaced it, and also replaced the spark plugs while I was at it.
I got that fixed and the problem was solved with the car running, but I noticed a had a vacuum leak that developed beforehand as well.
So I took it apart, removed the manifold and changed the intake manifold gaskets, the front tb gasket, and the rear manifold gasket.
I also replaced the injectors with some reman ones and had them flow tested and cleaned, I was there in person watching the process just because I was curious.
I put everything back together, connected everything and the car wouldnt start.
It cranks and cranks, to the point where fuel vapors come out of the exhaust but it will not start.
I checked the fuel injectors visually by having someone turn the key and seeing them fire the fuel.
I checked for spark, got a good jolt from the coil.
It has new plugs.
Checked the crank and cam sensors with multimeter and they are within spec.
Fuel rail is pressurized and FPR is also functional.
I do notice that I am not getting any suction from the intake manifold. Zero.
I am assuming I am not getting any compression...
but.. hoooowwwwwwww.
What do you guys think. If it's flooded, how long does it take to clear out.. Ive let it sit for 24 hours and nothing. Ive cranked so many times my battery drained. Im charging it right now.
Any help as to what it is, is appreciated. is it indeed flooded?
