well congrats to you for living in a nice neighborhood. in the bay area, it will get cut if you have anything worth stealing. it also rains a lot more here. and i have new rubber and it still leak in the front corners, just a little. Also when you open the doors, there is no rain gutter so, it runs into the car. and about the audio, again, ask any of the audio people here and they will tell you, vert audio sucks. I sank 1000s into my audio system to get anything good out of it.
so before you fly off the handle and say what im saying is not true, for the guy who will be living in the same area as me, think.

you must have a garage or you will get your top cut
you cant leave anything in your car ever
    it doesnt handle as well
    they are crap in autoX
you will get sick more often if you have bad lungs
the road noise it terrible at anything about 55mph
    you cant track them
they are a bit slower than the hardtop
if it's raining outside it's raining inside
the rear window needs to be replace ever 4 years.
    the audio is 10x worse

the plus side, a top down cruise on a nice day priceless
If you get heated seats like mine you can drive with the top down as low as 14F.
you can delete the AC, the top will never be up
babes chat with you at lights
    driving them is relaxing

come drive mine and you may fall in love

I have two verts and ill never go back. had a coupe and a 4 door and well im sorry but every car meet i go to every time i get gas everyone comes up to look at it and ask questions plus u dont awals see them and its also nice to do 140 with the top down. also u can cut down on the weight with removing all the sound denting remove the lead box in the trunk get some mason bars. yeah u cant run it on a track but how many times a month do u spend at a track? also with the Hard top road noise is cut in half. and i have no leaks because i replace all my window seals.

I might just do that too. I had too much put in on my sedan already. My biggest worry is havin it park outside all the time with the rain plus my not so good neighborhood.
