You have to provide value for the company that you wish to be sponsored by, unless you just want to put stickers on your car (why???). No one is just going to give you free things in return for posting pictures of your car on the internet. It's a symbiotic relationship. Also, posting in a forum is too informal. Email some companies or vendors and tell them what you want, what you can provide from them, and hopefully someone will help you out or at least point you in the right direction.
edit: Just realized that most of this if not all of it has been said already.
