Imported here, that thing would go easily for $7-8k
Great color; looks like its got a ton of nice Euro goodies too

Should be easier to import if its the right production month, just make sure its 25 years+ and you should be good

thats what im thinking, i could buy the car for 2,000. get it shipped for around 700-1500 if i make a deal with a few of the guys on here and get cars shipped together. then have a sick car that i could resell if i had to. most likely never would sell it but still haha

Then again, I'm just opinionated because I've always wanted a RHD e30 316i Touring. Shipping would be ALOT more than that though: think $1000-3000 potential range to go through DOT inspection and get it full prepped for import.

Thats why the price of Tourings are so high in the States. Importing one is a B
          Worth it, but a B

I imported one, spent around $3000 just on shipping, customs, dock fees and registration.

              Paid $3250 for the car

thanks for the insight, did you just do it by yourself or had a few guys get cars shipped with you?

I used TransGlobal myself, they did a great job imho. Mind you I did RO/RO and not a cargo container

Over here? Figure you spent 3ish on a nice one, and 3ish to ship, so you are 6 into it, If its cherry and in great condition 10 - 11, otherwise 8 - 10.

Mind you I don't sell cars, and could care less about flipping one to make a dime, so I didn't do this with resale in mind. It takes a special kind of person to spend 10K on a 25 year old stationwagon
