I've owned a'73 Super Beetle, '66 Beetle, 2 '83 gti's, one '84 gti, an 01.5 S4, and a 92 100cs wagon. So yeah, I'd say I'm a VW/Audi guy I guess... -
I had an '83 Rabbit GTI way, way back. Amazing car.
Audis, however, are a bit like valium.Leave a comment:

That is where I started, 87 4000 csq then onto a 91 90 20vq and after that a 337 with a bunch of bolt ons. Thinking of getting back into Audi with an A4 Avant as the kid hauler.Leave a comment:

I DD an APR tuned mkIV golf 1.8t. Does what I need it to for the most part, is decent on gas, and reasonably fun to drive. I wouldn't consider myself an enthusiast per se, but do appreciate the cars. And the quattro history is pretty cool.Leave a comment:

I had an 01 jetta for a while. Was nice enough for 250,000 miles on it. By that point the 1.8t in it was just coking the oil as fast as I could change it but I held on to it until my e30 was ready. Before that, had a B6 Passat wagon that left me on the side of the road with a fragged auto trans. So my experience has been mixed.Leave a comment:

Congrats on the job. If you worked for BMW or Mercedes you would say the same thing. :)Leave a comment:

I know this is a BMW site and I am probably going to get scrutinized for mentioning the 4-letter word, but who else here has an Audi/VW? I started working at an Audi dealer and lately, I have been really surprised as to what Audi offers compared to our roundel badged cars.
Not to mention I am able to get you a hook up on parts! :pimp:Tags: None
