    welcome to the forum and i also feel your love for the XJ.
    my current XJ is is bone stock but i have and OLD MAN EMU 2" lift setup waiting to be installed.

    its been a while for me but i seriously cant wait to go wheeling this fall ;D

    Judging by your location I wouldn't worry about that! THe floor might gain a hole or two but they don't rust too bad out west.

    I have a locker in the front, and limited slip rear.....stuck usually isn't the issue.

    That's exactly what happened to me. I had 2" on my JK, still got tired of calling my friends for help in the swampy terrain down here. At least it didn't go fast enough to get a ticket...

    Neverending. Once it gets caged I'm not gonna do too much else to it for the time being. I point it anywhere and it goes pretty well, even with only 3" of lift. Next year I'm going to spend a lot of time honing my on road driving skills. Been spending a lot of time the last 6 years paying with jeeps. I'm not bored of it just want to do other stuff too.

    I like it! An XJ was my first vehicle; many moons later, after a few others and a JK, I'm an e30 owner. E30's are like Jeeps in the sense that the project must go on.

    I'll look into that, once my neon sells and I get home from Utah I'm going to order suspension for it.

    Edit: Turner motorsports has a bilstein/h&r race spring combo for like $40 more than the touring kit...
