Hey guys,
I just got my first E30. It is an '87 325is. Not doing much research on the tachometer of different models, it wasn't something I focused on at the time of purchase. Once I got home and started researching I noticed that I should have a tachometer that displays up to 7,000rpm's with a redline of 6800rpm. Well mine only displays up to 5000rpm....As far as I can tell the engine is the model correct engine and not the E engine.
1. How the f?
2. Why the f would someone put that in there?
3. How easy is it to put a engine correct tach in?
