Anyone have positive experience with an enclosed carrier?? It seems like all of these guys will tell you whatever you want to hear just to get the job. Then bait and switch. Ive had 2 bids now from Minneapolis to California enclosed and both have failed. I need a truck the car will be put on and stay on till its delivered in southern Calif.

Isn't Intercity Lines one of the few that has good to great reviews consistently?
Someone back me up.
Intercity Lines is America's premier enclosed auto transport company. We are the nationwide enclosed car shipping company trusted by Jay Leno & Wayne Carini
Never had to personally use an enclosed carrier service before for my own cars, but family members have and it's a mixed bag with some carriers out there. One wanted to drop off a Lotus 20-40 something miles away when he was paid/told to deliver it to a residential address. Not cool.

Yeah I looked at an AWD Mini the other day for work. Only flatbed towable. They pulled the ol bait and switch and stuck it on a conventional tow truck for the long haul. Dragged it several hundred miles and burned up the tranny, transfer case, and diff. Not cheap.
Be careful and good luck. Trucking lines are pretty crooked.Derek-

Intercity Lines was great, but not fast. From the moment the car was available I waited 3 weeks for it to be picked up. Once on the truck it went fast enough. Driver was great though. I had a car shipped to me and he gave me an accurate estimate (I think he said 7:30-8am, was there at 7:30) on when he would be there, not like another driver with another car of mine that expected me to put my entire life on hold for a day waiting for him to get there.
They trucks they use alone make it worth it I think, plus they move a shit ton of really really expensive cars too.

My family just had a minty Mercedes W124 shipped from Memphis, TN to the San Francisco Bay Area.
It only took a week for it to very smoothly arrive last week. No damage, car looks superb.
I'll inquire regarding the carrier.
