Sick of whats it worth threads

So I suggest a thread where you post your car, price, location, date bought, mileage, and relevant info and picture of your e30 when you purchased it. Short and sweet all in the same format. Something like

    Year : 1991
    Model: 325ic
    Trans: Auto
    Mileage: 81,000
    Price: $1,000,000
    Purchase date: 8/13
    Location bought: FL
Issues: The power steering rack leaks a little, ac works, power top works, needs timming belt, seats need re-dye and stitching repair.

    I hope I didn't overpay.

This would give a nice way to track the value of the e30 from a few years back to the current time. Perhaps it could be stickied. Hopefully its not a repost or already been done.

Yeah yeah I know a car is worth what someone is willing to pay etc etc and I already have a pretty good pulse on the market I think.

    Year: 1990
    Model: 325is
    Color: Brilliantrot on Tan interior
    Trans: Getrag 260
    Mileage: 203,243 (not working)
    Price: $1,500
    Purchase date: July 2013
    Location bought: Orlando, FL
Issues: Not running, sitting for 10 years in garage (1 owner!), needs bushings everywhere.

Runs great after swapping fuel tank/pump and TB, WP, tensioner, and misc gaskets. Still needs bushings everywhere and A/C doesn't work. Minimal rust around the license plate lights.

    When I bought it -

    After getting it running -

    Terrible interior shot -

IMO there are so many variables it really isn't feasible to put together anything worthwhile. When you look at mileage, maintenance, modifications, and cosmetics the possibilities are endless, and what a buyers value more changes by person. And this is r3v, anything above free is overpriced.

Got a sig quote from this thread already, this is infinitely better than those WIW threads.

i imagine the majority of the cars on this forum were not purchased from a member of this forum.

                    Purchase date: 4/5/11
                    Location bought: Afton Va
Issues: "Blown headgasket" turned out to be really leaky valve cover gasket. Everything else I did was maintenance, timing belt, plugs, wp, fp, etc, etc. Tires were new.

                    Day I bought it.

Fact: I payed too much for mine.

                              Year : 1991
                              Model: 318is
                              Trans: 5spd
                              Mileage: Unknown, stopped at 103XXX
                              Price: $2000
                              Purchase date: 4/11
                              Location bought: Central Ohio
Issues: Front end damage, salvage title, no muffler, faded paint, cracked dash, severely needed a good tune up. In general, it was beat.

Pros: UUC short shifter, newer Bilstein sports and H&R springs with some real nice shock mounts. Good condition sport seats

I knew I could clean it up pretty easy but with the damage and the salvage title, I really should have payed less than $1500 for the car. Oh well.
