I'm telling you man. I know it seems a bit counter intuitive but threads like this may lower your chances of getting them back. If they happened to be on this site, they will definitely not post them up for sale after seeing this thread.

I read a story about someone who go their bike stolen and didn't tell anyone. Scoured CL and finally found one similar. They went to check it out and it was theirs. They asked to take it for a test ride and just never came back. Idk if they called the police on the guy or not.

Man if I was a thief I would at least put peoples cars on jack stands, the ones from harbor freight are like 15 bucks a pair , but then again I'm not a wheel thief
