Racing Dynamics is the home of special suspension parts including sway bar kits and strut braces for BMW, MINI and Porsche automobiles for over 28 years.

Mr Google doesnt help with this one much.

Not much public info still available on the K27 but basically it was just Racing Dynamics stroker just like Alpina's B3 & Hartge H27. Obviously it came with all the other RD bits (suspension, swaybars, strutbars, exhaust, wheels, bodykit, interior pieces, emblems, etc). Just write them an email (Racing Dynamics in Italy) and I'm sure they'll be helpful with information.

            Good luck!

BTW, I have the wheels, exhaust, pedals, frt strut bar.

Their US office is in southern Orange County, CA.

Like Chris said, the K27 is basically RD's version of the M20 stroker. It had something like 200 crank horsepower through special pistons and mild headwork and also came with a torque-biased differential, sport clutch, and slightly larger brakes. Not many were sold, and from heresay a few of em had longevity issues do to predetonation.

contact Tricked323i on this board. He was selling some racing dynamic pistons that were left overs, and got him self the a Racing Dyn. 323i engine 8) The racing dynamic 2.7 had the highest hp numbers of all the 2.7s including hartge, and Alpina. If i remember correctly. I've never seen a single review for the car and I buy a lot of euro specific bmw magazines.

Stay on topic. When did I say that Electrodyne didn't carry new old stock parts (which they don't have very much of, by the way)? I don't care about that, and that wasn't part of the discussion. RD Sport was established in the late 1990s by Pavoncelli because of the distribution and manufacturing disagreements between Racing Dynamics SpA and Electrodyne, which again, isn't part of this discussion. The truth is that Electrodyne (or RD USA, whatever you want to call them) NEVER imported any K27s into the US. They have no information whatsoever on those cars and there is no historical record of them selling or distributing any.

Do some more thinking, since that's what you seem to enjoy these days.

I have an Racing Dynamics catalog showing a picture of the K27 engine. I actaully had the opportunity to meet Pavoncelli a few yrs ago when he and Virginia had their "parting of ways" or whatever you want to call it. He stated that back in Italy he had "crates of RD engines", but can't import them.....Bummer I guess...
