I told him I don't think it's worth $5500 because of the mileage and how the interior looks. So I was able to bring him down to $4800, but I just learned that he cut and heated the springs
and he hasn't even registered the car because he didn't have the money and he has another car that he drives, but he claims he has the title and all i need to do is bring it to the dmv with my name on the title.
He also says it doesn't pass smog because it needs a new cat and he says he has one that his friend passed smog with.
When I asked him if the engine had any leaks or anything and if it's been tested he said these exact words: "Yes. Everything was tested and the engine was cleaned insided and out of any gunk. It runs smoothly. These motors are half million mile motors. They're amazing!"
This is what his ad says:

This car has no problems and runs like a champ. Oil was recently changed, car gets roughly 350 mi per tank of gas.
The interior is in good condition despite its year; it's equipped with the sports package interior.
