    Motor Mounts (Poly, M30)

Hi guys, I'm still noob to this... I have a vert with m30 with 4hp22 and e36 rack... I need new mounts all the way around so the exhaust can get fitted... I bought a cylinder of 90A polyurethane and will make my motor mounts from that, but I'd like some input on thickness... I don't know the size but I think its in the neighborhood of 44mm... Also, I can make a few of these if anyone is interested in a soft poly for the street... I think I can make them for $30 a pair, but lets see how they do on mine first... Basically I need feedback from m30 guys on clearance of pan and hood, and if anyone knows OEM size... Thanks,
    David

I don't need them yet, but I would buy a pair. Err.

hahahaha... trying not to go the wrong way with that... I doubt they'll be this nice, but they'll be pretty much the same feel as these I'd assume... whatever works, for cheap...

Well, if you're really interested, I'll be getting the pieces cut within the next couple days... Let me know if you want it the stock height or smaller (maybe 1/8" - 1/4") and then you can add washers to get it where you want it... If anyone else wants a pair too, let me know so I can purchase more poly... Thanks

I cut them at 1-1/2" (vs 1-3'4) and they are a little too short... added a few washers and it's still pretty much sitting on the e36 rack & pinion... I may have to throw a couple more washers on top of the rack mounts to drop it a little and see if that helps... that's a pain in the ass though... so for now, I may just add height to the motor mounts... gotta get this thing into the exhaust shop...
