125psi 2 gal air compressor = worthless

I borrowed my dads air compressor today hoping to grind up my new fender... But the stupid thing wont do jack lol

I can make it spin nice and fast for about 2 seconds then all the pressure in the tank is used up and it slows down to be unusable...

GAH

Why would you even buy one of these things??? its only good for filling up a tire and I can goto a gas station to do that...

What compressors are you guys using? I might just throw down for my own.

You buy them for nailers, etc. tools that need high pressure in very short bursts.
I have a 35 gallon 6 horse compressor for air tools, etc.

Yeah, for anthing that spins for more than 10 seconds you have to go vertical.

Hm yeah I forgot there air tools for not working on cars! lol, like a nail gun it would probably work for that.

Yea my 30 gallon 6hp still lags on heavy air suckers..... cut off wheel usually dries her up quick
