What is so special about "heckspoiler"?

Not new to the e30 game, yet never understood the "heckspoiler" meaning.

There is a nice kld or ktc heckspoiler on a 4 door alpine white sedan.

What's the value of these things? Rare?
Not sure if it would look nice on my vert...
