M20 Turbo Questions

alright then. since insurance has once again screwed me over on buying a brand new 3 series im gonna stick to the one i love the e30. and i have a question now... what exactly does the turbo kit that everyone uses on our m20 have and where can i get more info on it. what comes in a kit how much is it all????

Kit eh? THere is only one true kit I know of. Its from Mosselmen(sp?) and its too much money. Most people here that have turbo E30's have pieced togeather there own. Takes a good amount of knowledge and time and cash. If you serious about it get the book
Maximum Boost by corkey bell. It has all the info you need. There is a guy one here named TCD (TurboChargingDynamics) PM him or go to his web site. They have a nice E30 Manifold and some other stuff. Plus some good INFO. Also ProTurbo in finland make a Turbo adapter for 275 ish. Lots of info on this board. Do a serch, youll come up with some good stuff. HTH

Only kits available are Mossleman and Kormans and i think theyre both the same and way over priced in my opinion. Try to search the board first, since its been swarmed lately with turbo projects and questions.

It all depends on how far you want to go and how much you're willing to spend ,just to give you an idea heres all i've bought so far.

We are building our prototype starting tomorrow. The car will be finished by the end of next weekend. The kit will be available in about 90 days. I'll post some pictures on Sunday.
