    Interchangeability of spark plug wires

My beater 2nd car (2003 ford focus zetec) is due for some maintenance.

I don't want to spend any $ on it, and I know it needs new wires( oem ones are thin and brittle)
I have a set of NGK wires from an older m20b25 I had that are in great shape.
If I used 4 of these wires on the Zetec engine, could this work?
Can I cause any damage to the engine I it doesn't?

    Thx

The wires' construction shouldn't hurt the other motor at all. Worst case scenario I can think of is the wires are somehow too inhibitive (which I doubt) and the spark is weaker. The two things that might stop you would be the lengths of the wires and the shape of the plugs at each end.

      Is the Zetec not COP??

Edit: Just googled, it's not. Crazy. You can use the wires themselves, but by the time you bought and crimped on new ends, you could have bought a nice new set of NGK wires from Rockauto for less.

Edit #2: I just checked RockAuto for you - they're $17.99. Just bbbuy damn wires man!!! :)

If you are selling might be interested... have RPM issue that might be due to using I tach on an eta engine...

        My don't quote me list:
