Going to LA this weekend for first time.

I remember there being lots of LA r3ver on here and need recomendations on what to do as a car guy. I know of the museums and collections. Is there anything car related going on this weekend? Or bmw meets?

Thanks for any replies, and yes, i know no one cares but this is general discussion so discuss. Also, restaurant recommendations would be cool too.

Staying on Hollywood boulevard because i didn't know the area well and this is very spontaneous vacation. Visiting a friend at UCLA one day. and going to a Jimmy Kimmel live taping on Monday.

Hit up Tsujita in Sawtelle for some excellent ramen. Then go to Punta Cabras in Santa Monica for fish tacos.

Then hit up an E30 meet somewheres in the South Bay or the Valley.

              Los Angeles Natural History Museum
              La Brea Tar Pits
              J Paul Getty Museum

If you are into art or museums I would highly recommend any of the three.

edit: Los Angeles Zoo is fun. Only like $16 and they have Koalas.

Don't be fooled by all the traffic and bright lights in Hollywood, the further east you get, the worst,it'll become.
L.A. itself is a cool melting pot of everything., the shows and museums are definitely cool to do, while here but, what else are you into?

Worth the drive, I don't think you'll ever see so many random people, just enjoying a morning, showing off all of their cool rare/expensive cars in a parking lot.

There's lots of other spots to have good food, it's just whatever you're looking to eat is really how it'll play out.
No meets going on this weekend (e30 related) that I know of but, if you want something to do Saturday night PM me and I'll give you the details.
