    How to price my car?

Hey guys, so I'm losing money left and right being in school and I need to sell one of my two cars hint: it's my e30 :'(. The problem is, I don't know what it's worth. I just got back from pep boys doing an oil change and they did a buyer inspection. Here's a list of everything wrong:
    1. Front shock replacement
    2. Power steering flush
    3. air filter
    4. alt & fan belt
    5. steering belt
    6. Power steering pump drive belt
    7. compressor belt
    8. R&R axle shaft (both)
    9. Prosteer & Pinion Reman Rack Assy
    10. Overhaul steering gear
    11. Replace crankshaft oil seal front & rear
    12. Oil Pan set
    13. Main bearing seal set
    14. front crank shaft seal

It all came to $4014.68. $430.20 for parts, $2855.86 for labor, $457.48 (other) and $256 .42 for tax. I don't want to rip off the buyer but I don't want to get screwed over either.

Hard to say just from that list. What year and model is your car? Also, pictures make it much easier to evaluate a car.

Seems way to high for labor for me.

        And way low on parts.

Anyways, this car sounds like it had neglected maintenance and Im assuming isn't much of a looker.

1-2K depending on region, unless it has serious redeeming features.

Take it somewhere that isn't pep boys. Some of what they quoted is them blowing smoke up your ass. Take it to an independent euro or BMW specific shop if you want a real answer what it needs.

Your sig looks like a DB vert, if it's not in horrid condition I would $2-3k.

Sorry, It's a 1990 325 ic. It's a damn good looking car, bright red vert. The PO got the car keyed a bit but not super noticeable. You can tell the left fender had a little bump because it's a little wider.

OP, 1987 and 1990 is like the worst, least desirable years for verts.
"damn good looking" is judged by posted pic and since im posting pics, mine will be the scale and we haven't seen one of yours. heres a 10/10. IE 11k car.
when was your interior replaced, if not how bad is it? is the car auto or manual? miles on it?

guessing it was average maintenance and 200k miles. you would have a $2-3k car. 100k miles, maybe a 4500-5k car.

Post pic, and vital information before asking question about valuing something.

I already promised it to someone but if they don't want it, it's going as a whole. Sorry I live in an apartment complex and can't have a parts car out in front.

If yours is a 10/10 mine is a 4/10 (exterior) it have seat covers that "look" nice but they're still covers. What makes those particular years so desirable? I have a buyer who is constantly after me to sell it for his wife, I doubt she cares. I'll upload picks to this thread tomorrow after work, the only ones I have right now are glamour pics. Thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it!
Edit 1: it has 169k miles and I might of over estimated the exterior considering the bumper isn't "really" attached to the car by any bolts lol.

I stand by my 1-2k value on your hoopty. Don't be offended, the bumper isn't even attached.

That helps hold the bumper on.

The bumper would fall without that bolt and 2 zip-ties behind the license plate.
The bump isn't as obvious on this pic but that's why there is a zip-tie there. Mind you this piece is still connected, it would just dangle a little bit without the zip-tie
                              Bought the car pre-keyed
Someone did not like the girl who owned this before me.
                              Driver Quarter
It's apparently missing trim on both sides
                              This is the passenger side
A couple cracks in the dash
                              Backseat has good covers
Excuse the trash, life of a lazy student
A little tear in the driver seat cover
