    Old School Touring Car photos

    Stumbled across this site: http://www.racingsportscars.com

Images aren't the highest quality, but it's got some good pics of touring cars from 70-88. Enjoy.

Edit: This site is a gold mine if you like vintage pictures. Photos from '48 to '05

Damn, I know a couple of Volvo guys who are going to shit eggrolls when they see those vintage Volvo pics.

That red Kamei E30 with the oragne/yellow stripes is badass! I love that MkI Scirocco, too.

What an incredible find, this site is a gold-mine. And there are a shitload of non-M E30's, too! It's so hard to find pics of motorsport E30's that aren't M3's.

crack cocaine to be more specific. I'm sure Volvo engineers thought 'race car' when they first looked at the 240 concept car... or maybe it was 'bullet proof flying brick'

I love Jager!! Im stuck between going with a true alpina scheme with my 2002 or plastering it with the Jager theme; the only problem with that is I think the Jager 02s were schnitzer flares.. :(

I would kill for that Jager jacket that the person to the left is wearing...

                I found more!

These are definitely some of the best pages of pics on the site (late 70's, tons of BMW's).
Check out the Zender Scirocco on the second page, and the 320i toward the bottom of the page:

                    First thought seeing that picture.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Jager is the best race sticker scheme ever. Henna racecars should automatically get jager sponsorship

Those are Inka orange, not henna if thats what you were thinking. Doesnt look really red to me though so I dunno. At least all of the ones I have seen, and especially the 2002's, nothing else looks any different really. Its a deep rich orange. The black and orange Alpina 02's were colorado.

The Jager scheme looks amazing, but you've gotta show some respect for the Martini livery :D
