price to upgrade to the new bumpers on an 87?

how much is it going to cost to put the 89 and up bumpers on an 87 is?? i hate the big bumper car bumpers the 87's have.

i can get a complete 87is for $700 running but it needs a new paintjob, or a 90is for hopefully $500 but it needs a new engine.

these little bmw's are so addictive... i dont even have one yet and i can already tell i'm going to be completely consumed by it. i think i've found an m50 for like $400-500 so i might pick that up and start collecting parts for the swap.

I paid 200 for bumpers picked up, 120 for valance and US ellips, 25 for some trim, a few more $$ for some misc. parts like brake ducts, grilles. 150 for original Reiger. Then you have to modify the rear, cheap if you can do body work. Then you have to paint them, also fairly cheap if you do it yourself. Bodywork and paint was around 100. Calculated for the amount of supplies used and not the complete bought.

Why the '90 bumpers? Why not any new style 88-91 ?

He's not talking about using a 90 for the bumpers, he's talking about buying a 90 car

Youre car just needs rims. I love it. I wish there was someone here locally that was willing to help me out in modifying the rear for the eta. I am not looking forward to paying a body shop to do it. And I cant keep it unmodified. I dont like hack shit.

Get the 87', retard arches suck.

"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.

I just got new tires on my oz's and put them on today. Probably going to do silver this year instead of the black centers, and might sell them for something different come summer time.
