I would rather save the Whole car, here in Denmark that car is worth around 18.500$ when it's done.
He's asking 2,200$ for the 745i+the 732 for spare parts, so might be able to profit from that :-)
I'll have to build a new garage if I keep buying cars, I've already stored two cars another place already.
It might be that the tarp has kept the moisture in, but there's still a good chance to find some parts under that, that will be useable on the touring.
Thinking of going there next weekend to get a idea of how the 2002's look.
Also wanna see some registration papers on the cars, to find out how old they are and wich engine they came with.
I think he didn't have the means to fix the cars, he's a old guy who's lost his son and lives by himself on a farm.
The E28 is his sons car, might be why he stored that one in a garage.
He specifically stated that he wasn't going to sell, if the plan was to just scrap the cars.
Yes, it'll be fun but I'll have to finish my track car first, so these cars will be stored in a good dry place, while i finish the track car project.
An update on the find.
It turns out, that all the cars under the tarp are tourings, except one.
I'm taking this red lady home with me, plus one more as a parts car.
1973 2002 touring, with Alpina Wheels, recaro seat, some sort of front and sideskirts and weber carburators.
