    Information on 6series Hartage?

I've been looking and can't find much information. I found a 6series hartage today, but the badges were removed. It had h6 and I believe maybe an S. There were three digits. I'm guessing it's a H6s? Is there any special bits I should grab, anything special? How is the motor in it and what model number is it? Thanks for any info

H6s is a Hartge model, yes. Grab it whole if possible! It's real rare! The motor is a hot M30 variant, claimed 268 crank hp. here's some stats

    is it this one? http://imgur.com/a/U6Z2x/all

Well the car has been picked over. Someone took the badges, spolier, sturt brace and entire suspension, but the motor is perfectly intact, is it worth grabbing the motor alone?

It's not that car, this car is a terrible yellow, as well as the motor is..I'm guessing someone painted the motor yellow?

          the motor is worth grabbing

so is the exhaust manifold if it's a long-tube. should have a Hartge tag on it.

Thanks Kronos. Do you know of a model number for the motor or anyway to identify it's a true hartage before pulling

nope, I don't really know what the internal components are going to be, and I don't think hartge stamped the block or anything. Does it have a Hartge valve cover?

It's likely to have custom pistons, a ported head and a fairly-aggressive cam.

It's so cool when people find rare holy grail type bimmers. I don't really know about six series, but I'd grab it for the motor alone.

I guess since the badges were removed i shouldn't be too hard on you for spelling Hartge wrong.

                        Which pull-a-part is it at?

Grab everything that's a Hartge piece, part, or unique to the car. It will all be worth $$.
