        in the context of what i was referring to, being performance, being me perhaps purchasing an M3, being me putting an M42 in an M3, yes the m42 is junk. of course its not junk in a daily driver 318is, etc.

              There is nothing mystical about the S14. Any competent shadetree mechanic can build a motor with the proper tools and instruments.
