Okay so what did they get . . . Memoirs of a Hack Mechanic, insulated coveralls, self igniting torch, BMW racing jersey (long sleeve) jack stands (for the young fanatic) odd tools, magnetic dishes, headlamps (the kind you put on your head), BMW Racing hat, . . . and some other fanatic stuff ;) Thanks for all the great feedback.

Honestly - that's cool. Its not easy to have lover/wife/ mother to do some research on what a to get a man/son. Especially when it comes to specific hobbies and interests. Nice job.

Thanks, I actually love it . . . truthfully, the focus of the fanatics makes it easy, I just try to out-do myself and really get them pumped over gifts. R3V is a great resource for so many things and many great suggestions came up.

One gift I give year round is the services of me and my Chevy Crew-Cab - I have picked up 4-6 engines, dozens of other loads and last night I took a road trip to pick up and move a "parts washer" for the older fanatic. I am their personal shipping company - they don't realize I just love roadtripping with my Chevy ;)
