1991 525i help pliz

[MIZTERIO]

i found this 1991 525i with 144K for $1000 on sale in a local newspaper. I dunno shit about this car. they come with m20 or m50?? i asked the owner about the engine and he doesn't know . parts expensive?? specs? any information would be aprecciated . please school me.

afaik, only '89+'90 had m20ies, '91 &/\ had m50

Should be an M50. It will come with all the usual high mileage M50 problems too, so be careful

Parts are cheap except for the radiator.

The interior is probably shot to shit.
