Any know of a shop in the Long Island/NYC, CT or NJ area that will do a tune on our cars?

i live in the south and when i was doing my turbo build on my last e30 one of the places i looked at was evans tuning in PA! ive heard great things about that place. They tune most engine management systems. http://www.evans-tuning.com/ only place i know of close to what you mentioned above. but im sure someone else can chime in.

define "tune"? you have a stock engine? if not what do you have and what do you wan tot achieve? If a stock car aftermarket chips is a solid way to go.

This is for a new build I just finished. 2.7 stroker with 86mm bores on an M20. ...will soon have long tube headers as well.

I want to achieve getting the best performance out of my current setup.

My car is also stumbling a bit at idle. I'm not sure if it's related... I've only put about 100 miles on the rebuild.

don't know if they work on bimmers, but I had my subaru tuned at Akuma motorsports in NJ and they were very professional, and extremely knowledgeable.

Could be worth a call.
