    Euro 635?

I found this car locally being parted out and don't have much clue about 635s. I do believe it has a Dogleg Trans and I'm wondering if those are ITBs on the engine.

I can get both items but I'm unsure if it's what I'm thinking it is. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the outside but it is an Euro 635. Euro bumpers, KM/h speedometer, German writing all over the dash. I also got the vin # if that helps. I'm just clueless. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

I don't need the bumpers but if you guys think I could sell them I could get them. They are in good shape also. What do you think the bumpers go for?

Just about anything euro will sell in the US. Try to get every euro specific piece, especially the trans. If youre not going to use them just resell and make some money.

That's where the problem is. I'm not familiar with the 6 series at all so all that I know are Euro specific so far is the bumpers, trans, diff.

I'll try googling to see what other Euro specific parts are in the 6 series.

                Thanks

So I got to the JY on and found out not only the car was an automatic but it had an open differential. The only things I saw that maybe worth anything are the front and rear bumpers and it does have Recaros Sport seats.

Are those Recaros worth anything? They aren't in the best or shape but def could be redone as everything is all there on them.

                  Thanks

assuming by recaros, you mean bmw sport seats? if they are not in good shape, i wouldn't bother.

how did this car go from having a dogleg to an automatic? i can't make any sense of this?

A friend found this car at the junkyard and didn't pay any attention to it but got a pic of the vin number. I looked it up on RealOEM and it said it was a manual...I went there expecting to pull a manual trans...but it was an auto.

Now, the seats say "Recaro" on a sticker on the inner frame rail of the drivers seat so I'm assuming they are Recaros correct? Are BMW sport seats same as Recaros?

                      Thanks

Euro 6 series came with Recaro seats unlike our US e30s. I had a pair in great condition that were tan but did not have much luck selling them. The 6er crowd is a bit smaller.

I parted out a 1977 Euro 633 earlier this year. Sold the Dogleg to a local within a day for $1000. Bumpers sold quickly too. Cluster was a hot ticket item, as well as few misc engine bay related thing and rear seat.

With that said, I still made good money on it, but a lot of the stuff isn't super desirable to people anymore. You will have to wait on a lot of things to sell.

As far as those Recaros go, they are real Recaros. Very similar to the E21 Recaros, but in E12 (or early E24) form.

the motor is worth something as it's an m90 and not a m30. It has the same short block as the m88.

This is the only picture I have that kind of shows the condition of the seats. The tears on the passenger seats are the worst and the drivers seat and rear seats have wear but no tears. I also found it weird to have that lever next to the bottom inner seat bolster.

Do you think these are worth getting and selling them?
