Gotcha. If I remember correctly, the engines you're referring to supposedly made up to 1400hp. Granted, that was in qualifying trim, where they were running like 50+ PSI of boost and only lasted a couple of laps before being swapped out for the race engine/drive line.
Again, I think the only thing the F1 engine shared with the production M10 was the block.Leave a comment:

:)forgive me but we're kind of inclined to help if the person shows initiative to help themselves.

or buy an M12 / M13 engine :)I'm sure it can be done with any 1.8 L block on the market, just add cash and be prepare to replace it the same day.

Given that the engine makes an ideal 150ish stock, 250's probably a realistic 'I haven't changed anything else' maximum.
Corky Bell's book Turbocharging is still a good read, even if you don't do 1/10th of the
things he talks about.

He's probably trolling, but I'll bite. The only thing he could be referring to are the 4-cylinder Formula 1 engines BMW built. As far as I know, basically the only thing they had in common with the production M10 was the block.Leave a comment:

The m10 can get like 1200hp boosted. I'm how it works, but it does.Leave a comment:
