    E30 Rivet-on Overfenders

I have this posted In the Auto-body section as well. just trying to reach out here.

So no shit there I was......browsing the E36 BF.C forum and I came across a thread Iv been following for some time now, and it hit me......If only e30's had rivet on over fenders with either 30mm, 50mm, and 70mm wide body options. I think this would be a great change from the Rivet on Flares we all know and love... if done correctly Im wondering on some feed back as to if anyone would have interest in something like this....Is this something only I have been wanting? Or is this something people want, but don't bother because nobody makes it.

The e30 crowd is flooded with the same looks IMO (not in a bad way, but in a cookie cutter way). If there was a way to keep the factory body lines, but slightly skewed for wide body purposes, would anyone be interested?

Here are examples of the fenders I have talked about...

Thread (all credit goes to Ollie and his build):

These guys are changing the E36 game in a good way IMO, and giving enthusiasts more options other than rivet on flares and way too expensive full body kits. I thought I read somewhere in his thread that he MAY start producing for E30's but I can't remember, please correct me if he is.

If anyone has input on this please reply. I would be motivated to try and work on a project like this if the community is supportive and hungry for change!

Always struck me why people use rivets or screws to attach these, then cover them in filler so it's all nice and smooth. You can buy 2 part epoxy glue they use for bonding subframes to firewalls, it's pretty cheap and will stick practically anything to anything else.
Just a little project im working on

seems like an okay idea; but if I wanted to make a widebody E30 I'd just turn it into an M3 rep.. or just buy an m3?

No need for two of the same thread. Even more so with this one in the wrong place.
