    Alignment issues after lowering

Finally swapped out the stock front springs with a set of J-stocks the other day, and the car is tracking weird. It will pull to the right or to the left after making some turns and sometimes track straight.
I also installed new strut mounts, the original ones were hammered flat and new sway bar links and brackets.
Rear setup has TC Kline 800# springs in the back.

My question is can the alignment get that F'd up, or should I be looking at something else?

you're supposed to get an alignment after any changes to suspension parts. maybe you forgot a spacer in your strut mounts and its causing the bearings to bind, making the steering funky? get an alignment and go from there.

      edit, what blunttech said ^

I have washers on the top of the strut mounts, same setup like they were.
In order like so.. spring hat, strut mount, washer, nut. I used the old thin metal cap like thing under the strut mount to cover the bearings.

they might be a little over tightened, i don't know torque specs for sure, but i think it was like 50 ft/lbs

Youre missing the washer between the hat and mount. Suppose to be: hat, washer, mount, washer, nut

dotted because I remember a few cars back I ran into the same thing and just contributed it to the mythical "2in drop bump steer" that kept getting recited to me from here.

Let me ask a few questions:

1.) How's your rear subframe bushings?
2.) What parts do you see moving from the top of the strut bearing with the car on the ground?
3.) How many threads are there above the top nut? Does it hit the end of the threads on the strut side?
4.) does your strut spin with the nut if you try to tighten it more? Does your spring try to, as well?

Please update if/when you find a solution, I see this happen all the time but I've never seen the problem resolved, just lessened. Sucks.
