    Garage Floor Protectant?

Looking for something to seal my new houses garage before I screw it up anymore from all the anti freeze and oil. Asked around and my family is very apposed to Epoxy coatings as they have had them pull up in the past. They recommended a Concrete Sealer.

Anyone have any good experiences with a sealer/epoxy/etc they could share?

I used something called Aquapel. It is only a moisture/water barrier. It repels water and will not let it soak into the concrete. It does a pretty good job with oil too, but after a while I've been told that oil will penetrate it if left on the floor. I've been cleaning up all my messes and I still have a very clean floor. I just use a degreaser and some water to clean up any spills. My garage is 50x40 and the quote to do the whole floor in epoxy was around 8k. In the end I'm glad I didn't spend the money on the epoxy, I know they say it will stand up to abuse but I do a lot of cutting/burning and welding and I'm not sure how well epoxy would have handled it. I still plan on doing the parking area of the garage in epoxy but my working area will stay concrete.

Porcelain or ceramic tile. Check the garage journal forums and you'll find that it is a very durable solution, looks tits too!
